Why “How many days?” has no single correct answer
Custom lanyard production time depends on whether the artwork is ready, whether the buyer needs a physical sample, how the logo is made, whether the hook and badge holder are in stock, how many role variants require approval, and where the cartons must arrive. A supplier cannot responsibly confirm a deadline from quantity alone.
The safest approach is to work backward from the required arrival date. The actual event date, destination postal code and contingency days are more useful than an instruction to “ship as soon as possible.”

Choose the right sample level
Electronic proof
An electronic proof confirms artwork placement, repeat direction, text and approximate colors. It is fast and useful for ordinary projects, but it cannot prove hand feel, exact print color, hardware operation or badge-holder fit.
Stock reference sample
A reference sample shows a comparable strap, print method, weave or attachment. It can help buyers decide faster without building their exact logo. Because it is not the buyer's final specification, it should not replace written approval.
Custom pre-production sample
A custom sample is most useful when brand color, logo legibility, woven detail, safety hardware, special sewing or a lanyard-and-badge-holder kit matters. Confirm whether sample cost and courier freight are included or separate, and whether a revised sample will be needed if the design changes.
The approval critical path
The schedule does not move only inside the factory. If a proof waits four days in an inbox, the project has lost four days. Before starting, name one person who can approve artwork, construction and packing. Consolidate comments into one response and record the final version number.

What a useful schedule confirmation contains
Ask the supplier to state the proof target, sample target, approval cutoff, bulk completion estimate, shipping method and expected delivery range. A timeline is meaningful only when its starting conditions are clear. “Production in 20 days” is incomplete if the buyer has not approved the sample or if the freight method has not been selected.
